The average price of electricity for Friday, September 9, 2022, will be 159.73 euros per megawatt hour (MWh)which represents an increase over the price of electricity this Thursday, September 8 (155.94 euros).
According to data from the OMIE (the electricity market operator designated for the management of the daily and intraday electricity market in the Iberian Peninsula), the price of energy in Spain is 159.73 euros/MWh, to which the compensation would be added to the electricity companies, which, in this case, will be 86.20 euros, which gives a total of 245.93 euros/MWh.
As far as the maximum electricity price for fridaywill be registered from 21 to 22, with a cost of 250 euros, identical to the price of Thursday.
For its part, the best time to start your appliances will be between 1 and 2 p.m.a range in which the price of pool will be 118 euros, lower than Thursday (4125 euros).
Electricity rates, per hour
As for the most affordable and cheapest electricity prices for Friday, September 9, they are as follows (without considering compensation).
All of them are below 125 euros/MWh:
- From 11 to 12: 120.52 euros/MWh.
- From 12 to 13: 118.69 euros.
- From 13 to 14: 118 euros.
- From 14 to 15: 121.04 euros.
- From 15 to 16: 119.58 euros.
- From 16 to 17: 118.17 euros.
- From 17 to 18: 121 euros.
- From 18 to 19: 119.14 euros.
The most expensive electricity prices will be given from 8 to 9 hoursand between 8 and 11 p.m., when they will not fall below 200 euros/MWh.
