“This trailer was taken directly from a certain part of Tekken 8’s current story modewhich is in progress and played on PlayStation 5. Although it looks like a designed trailer rendered in edit and it will not be the final product, in reality, the game will look like this. “Although this was captured from story mode, it is not a pre-rendered movie made for the trailer, but real-time rendered imagesrunning at 60 frames per second, similar to how you would experience the game in versus battle modes”, he adds.
The fight could have great importance in the history of this installment of the popular saga. “As mentioned in the ending dialogue of Tekken 7, this new installment will focus on the confrontation of father and son, between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama. Nevertheless, the director of Tekken 8 has also indicated that we cannot expect this scene to remain unchanged in the final version. Because the video game is still in development, the story could change by the time it reaches our consoles.
Tekken 8 doesn’t have a pre-order or release date yet. However, it is confirmed that it will be an exclusive game for PlayStation 5, at least by the time it is officially released.
