Storage – CEMA Batteries joins forces with Algebat and enters fully into the solar sector

CEMA Batteries enters the solar market with the purchase of a large part of Algebat’s shareholders. “The operation -reports CEMA- promises to expand the experience and specialization of both companies in the solar and wind sector and expand the portfolio of both at a national level”. Algebat, a company based in Algeciras (Cádiz), is a specialist in the sale and distribution of solar components such as batteries, solar panels, inverters and self-consumption solar kits, among others. According to the statement released by the Sevillian company, CEMA Batteries “will have new solutions and a strong consolidation in the solar sector at the national level, while gaining presence, and increasingly, in the international markets of continents such as Europe, Africa and South America with their traditional lines of work”.

Rafa Fernández, founder and executive director of CEMA Batteries: “Our teams share the same vision and values ​​and we can continue to learn a lot from each other, exchanging knowledge and expanding frontiers. This is the beginning of something very important.”

CEMA Batteries imports, exports and distributes batteries. The company, based in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville), operates with “a multitude of battery brands from the world’s leading manufacturers and for all types of applications”. These brands include CEMA, Monbat, Varta, Optima, Exide, Intact, Dynavolt, Trojan, US Battery, ESA Baterias, Teck Europe, Ozonyx and Topcore.
