Horacio’s latest creation Pagani, the Utopia hypercarwill take in exclusive Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
The technology of the compound and the tread allow the tire to deal with some Extremely high power and torque levels in all kinds of temperatures and asphalt surfaces. In parallel, the P Zero Corsas of the Utopia had to guarantee a high level of comfort, an equally essential aspect when Horacio Pagani imagined his new creation. The end result is a great communion between covers and carwhich is even transferred to the flank, where the specific Pagani marking is joined by a silhouette of the model to underline the specific development.
The tires had to emphasize the driving dynamics, so we have opted for different measurements on each axle: 265/35 ZR21 at the front and 325/30 ZR22 at the rear. For winter driving, Pirelli offers a specific P Zero Winter set.
The union of two Italian brands
The new hyper car from the prestigious Italian firm has been presented at the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan wearing its new Pirelli tires developed to measure. The creation of it has had to meet some difficult premises: help deliver maximum performance in any driving situationto extol at all times the magnificent dynamic qualities of the vehicle –and its unique feeling behind the wheel– without sacrificing optimum driving comfort.
Pirelli and Pagani work together dfor more than a decade on a shared mission: unite state-of-the-art technology with an avant-garde style. Among the long list of milestones of this association, the P Zero tires for the Zonda, the P Zero Trofeo R for the Huayra Roadster BC and, now, the P Zero Corsa for the Utopia stand out.
The development of the P Zero Corsa of the Pagani Utopia has been carried out squeezing the maximum of the virtualization techniques, an approach that emanates from motorsport and that Pirelli already uses in its new generation street tires. What allows the engineers to create a one hundred percent digital cover model and that it can be calibrated and tested in a multitude of situations using computers before starting production of real prototypes.
This methodology is more rfast, sustainable and efficient than the traditional process, which allows Pirelli to refine the product, with a high degree of precision, according to the exact specifications required by the manufacturer, and then start the testing phase with computers, which saves both time and raw materials.
