Deutsche Bank Spain appoints Fernando Candau as new head of private banking

Deutsche Bank Spain has appointed Fernando Candau as the new head of private banking and Xavier Sánchez as the new head of investment services companies for wealth management and private banking.

The appointments will be effective as of October 1 and reinforce the organizational structure of the Bank for Entrepreneurs. Both will report directly to Borja Martos, head of private banking and wealth management at Deutsche Bank Spain.

Candau has a professional career spanning more than 24 years, 18 of them at Deutsche Bank. Until now, Candau was regional director of private banking for the western area of ​​Deutsche Bank Spain.

Sánchez, for his part, was until now the regional director for the eastern area and has accumulated 25 years of professional experience, of which 18 years have been linked to Deutsche Bank Spain.

“Deutsche Bank has become the employer of reference in international private banking in Spain and this reorganization will help us continue to grow in a private banking model that is unique in Spain,” said Martos.
