A woman poisons and kills her eight-year-old daughter so she wouldn’t reveal her infidelities

A 29-year-old woman has been sentenced to thirty in prison for a crime of infanticide, after poisoning her eight-year-old daughter by forcing her to drink insecticide, which caused her death. The reason behind this parricide is that the murderer, Gavana MM, intended to prevent the girl from telling her mother’s infidelities.

The events took place in the city of Sucre, in Bolivia, on April 17, 2020, but the sentence, which does not contemplate the possibility of pardonhas been known this week, as reported by the Mexican media Debate.

Among the evidence presented was the expert report on toxicology showing that the minor ingested an insecticide and the autopsy carried out by the Forensic Research Institute (IDIF) that indicates mechanical asphyxia due to obstruction of the lower airways by gastric content as the cause of death.

As the investigation progressed, suspicions surrounded the mother, who ended up confessing. After the crime, Gavana MM allegedly altered the crime scene to pretend that his daughter had committed suicide. The woman left the house after killing the little girl and returned after a while, pretending that she found her dead. It was the father who notified the police of what happened.

It has been made known, always according to information from Debate, that the girl had discovered that her mother was being unfaithfuland that she wanted to end her daughter’s life so that she would not reveal that information.
